Then Little Nutbrown Hare had a good idea, 小兔子有了一個好主意，
He tumble upside down and reached up the tree trunk with his feet. 他頭朝下，把兩只腳朝上頂在樹干上
"I love you all the way up to my toes!" he said. “我對你的愛一直到我的腳尖那兒耶！”
"And I love you all the way up to your toes," “我對你的愛一直到你的腳尖那兒啊！”
said Big Nutbrown Hare, 大兔子一邊說著一邊拉著小兔子的手把他拋向空中
swinging him up over his head.
”I love you as high as I can hop!" “我對你的愛就象我跳得這么高！“
Laughed little Nutbrown Hare, 小兔子笑著，
bouncing up and down. 跳啊跳啊。

and he hopped so high that his ears touched the branches above. 他跳得那么高，耳朵都碰到上面的樹枝。

Nothing could be farther than the sky. 沒有什么東西是比天還遙遠的吧。
"I love you right up to the moon" 我對你的愛一直到月亮
He said, and closed is eyes. 說著，他閉上眼睛
"Oh, that's far," said Big Nutbrown Hare. “唔，那很遠啊”大兔子說

Big Nutbrown Hare settled Little Nutbrown Hare into his bed of leaves. 大兔子把小兔子放在他的樹葉鋪陳的小床上

“噢！我大概猜不出來。”大兔子笑笑說。
“我愛你這么多。”小兔子把手臂張開，開得不能再開。
大兔子有雙更長的手臂，它張開來一比，說：“可是，我愛你這么多。”
小兔子動動右耳，想：嗯，這真的很多。
“我愛你，像我舉的這么高，高得不能再高。”小兔子說，雙臂用力往上撐舉。
“我愛你，像我舉的這么高，高得不能再高。”大兔子也說。
哦，小兔子想，真糟，他又比我高。
哦，小兔子想，真糟，他又比我高。
小兔子又有個好主意，它把腳頂在樹干上倒立了起來。他說：“我愛你到我的腳趾頭這么多。”
大兔子一把抓起小兔子的手，將它拋起來，飛得比它的頭還高，說：“我愛你到你的腳趾頭這么多。”
小兔子大叫：“我愛你，一直到過了小路，在遠遠的河那邊。”
大兔子說：“我愛你，一直到過了小河，越過山的那一邊。”
小兔子想，那真的好遠。它揉揉紅紅的兩眼，開始困了，想不出來了；它抬頭看著樹叢后面那一大片的黑夜，覺得再也沒有任何東西比天空更遠的了。
大兔子輕輕抱起頻頻打著呵欠的小兔子，小兔子閉上了眼睛，在進入夢鄉(xiāng)前，喃喃說：“我愛你，從這里一直到月亮。”
“噢！那么遠。”大兔子說，“真的非常遠，非常遠。”
大兔子輕輕將小兔子放到葉子鋪成的床上，低下頭來，親親它，祝它晚安。
然后，大兔子躺在小兔子的旁邊，小聲地微笑著說：“我愛你，從這里一直到月亮，再……繞回來。”

He wanted to be sure that
Big Notbrown Hare was listening.
"Guess how much I love you," he said.
"Oh, I don't think I could guess that,"
said Big Nutbrown Hare.

Little Notbrown Hare,
strecthing out his arms
as wide as they could go.
Big Nutbrown hare
had even longer arms
"But I love you “
this much," he said. “
Hmm, that is a lot,
thought Little Nutbrown Hare.
"I love you as high
as I can reach," said
Little Nutbrown Hare.
“I love you as high as I can reach，”said，
Big Nutbrown Hare. "

Little Nutbrown Hare.
I wish I had arms like that
Then Little Nutbrown Hare had a good idea,
He tumble upside down and reached up the tree trunk with his feet.
"I love you all the way up to my toes!" he said. “
"And I love you all the way up to your toes,"
said Big Nutbrown Hare
swinging him up over his head.
”I love you as high as I can hop!"
Laughed little Nutbrown Hare
bouncing up and down.
"But I love you as high as I can hop,"
smiled Big Nutbrown Hare
and he hopped so high that his ears touched the branches above.
That's good hopping,
though Little Nutbrown Hare.
I wish I could hop like that.
“I love you all the way down the lane as far as the river”
cried Little Nutbrown Hare.
"I love you across the river and over the hills,"
siad Big Nutbrown Hare.
“That's very far, ”thought Little Nutbrown Hare.
He was almost too sleepy to think any more.
Then he looked beyond the thornbushes,out into the big dark night.
Nothing could be farther than the sky.
"I love you right up to the moon"
He said, and closed is eyes.
"Oh, that's far," said Big Nutbrown Hare.
"That's very very far."
Big Nutbrown Hare settled Little Nutbrown Hare into his bed of leaves.
He leaned over and kissed him good night.
Then he lay down close by and whispered with a smile,
"I love you right up to the moon-
