another和the other的用法區(qū)別是什么？
指特定的兩個(gè)人或物中的“一個(gè)，另一個(gè)時(shí)”,只能用one...the other,故此為具體范圍內(nèi)；指不確定范圍中的人或物中的“一個(gè)，另一個(gè)時(shí)”,用one...another在大范圍下。
主要是another與the other的區(qū)別：
1、單復(fù)數(shù)不同
指單數(shù)時(shí)的用法指單數(shù)時(shí)，若泛指用another，若特指用 the other。如：Give me another (one). 另外給我一個(gè)。
Shut the other eye, please. 請(qǐng)把另一只眼睛也閉上。
2、后面接名詞不同
another的用法another一般只能表單數(shù)，且其后接名詞也只能接單數(shù)名詞。但是若其后有數(shù)詞或 few 修飾時(shí)，則也可接復(fù)數(shù)名詞。
如：We need another few chairs. 我們還需要幾把椅子。
