1. The International Music Score Library Project (IMSLP), also known as the古典音樂典藏計劃, is an online music library that has been in operation since 2006.
2. It currently houses over 495,000 scores and 59,000 recordings, covering works by 18,000 composers, making it an extensive resource for musicians and classical music enthusiasts.
3. This digital collection offers the convenience of space that traditional music libraries cannot match, providing encyclopedic services to music lovers and scholars alike.
4. Within the library, a wide range of classical music compositions from various periods, from the classical era to the modern era, can be found.
5. Contemporary composers, too, have been uploading their works to the platform, despite copyright restrictions, to allow more people to perform and study them, thereby reaching a wider audience.
6. The library features a powerful name index and search engine, enabling anyone to find the music materials they need by inputting the name of a composer or a work.
7. It also includes different versions of each work published by various music publishers, along with audio recordings to facilitate learning while listening.
